The Thermalright AM5 Contact Frame is a precision-machined aluminum replacement bracket engineered for the AM5 CPU socket. It is designed to eliminate the motherboard warping and bending that can occur under the clamping pressure of aftermarket CPU coolers.

By maintaining a flatter, more consistent contact surface between the CPU and cooler, the frame is claimed to reduce processor temperatures by 1–3 degrees Celsius compared to the stock AMD retention mechanism it replaces.

The package includes a tube of Thermalright TF7 thermal paste, rated at a thermal conductivity of 12.8 W/m·K, providing everything needed for a complete installation.
